Power your home or office using the battery in your electric car

Sigenstor Vehicle To Home/Office Charging Solution

Bi-Directional DC Charging Station with Bi-Directional Inverter (shown with optional battery modules).

Charge your car during the day then power your home in the evening and at night using using the battery in your electric car.

The charging solution is comprised of a bi-directional charging station connected to a physically separate bi-directional inverter approved for use in Australia. The charging module is stacked underneath the inverter and connected by charging cable to the CCS 2 dispenser. Optional battery storage modules can be added to the stack.

The holster for the charging cable is mounted on the wall beside the inverter and charging module stack.

Charge your car during the day off solar then power your home in the evening and at night using the battery in your electric car. Cannot charge during the day? Just start re-charging your car after 11pm using the cheap night rate electricity and start your morning commute with a full charge.

Bi-Directional Charging Station Installation

The Sigen Energy inverter is certified to AS/NZS 4777.2 and CEC approved. The charging station comes in 12.5 kW and 25 kW versions. It can charge and discharge at 12.5 kW or 25 kW depending on the capability of the car.

The Sig Energy EV DC bi-directional charging station is approved for the WA ChargeUP Grant.

AS/NZS 4777.1 and AS/NZS 4777.2 are inverter standards. AS/NZS 4777.1:2024 specifies the safety and installation requirements for connecting inverters to the grid in situations where the inverter may export energy to the grid. AS/NZS 4777.2:2020 specifies the hardware, functionality, testing and compliance requirements for inverters that connect energy sources and energy storage systems to the grid.
